Thermal conductivity
The average or equivalent thermal conductivity (λeq.) indicates the heat flow through at least two or more building materials.
Definition of thermal conductivity:
Thermal conductivity (λ) describes how much thermal energy (heat) passes through one square metre of a 1 m thick layer of building material in one hour. The lower the thermal conductivity, the less heat can pass through a material.
