Organohalogen substances are among the most dangerous substances that we know of concerning health and the environment. However, their field of application is growing continuously. For this reason, products that completely dispense with organohalogen substances should be made visible. In case of doubt, they should be given priority.
Organohalogen substances must not be contained in the product. Also preliminary products must be checked for the presence of organohalogen substances. Impurities of the products are tolerated up to 0.01 % by weight (100 ppm).
