Description
Product groups: Ceiling elements made of wood, Cross laminated timber
Description of the area of application: LIGNO® Rippe is a configurable cross-laminated timber ribbed element designed for load-bearing floor slabs with high sound and fire protection performance. It is suitable for single-family homes as well as multi-storey buildings, schools, or office spaces. Integrated longitudinal and transverse channels allow for flexible installation routing. Usually, the elements are supplied with visible surfaces—such as knot-free white fir—and feature a slatted underside with acoustic absorbers to meet high architectural design standards. Large spans can also be achieved.
Product description of manufacturer: LIGNO® Rippe-x is a material-efficient cross-laminated timber ribbed element designed for use as a sound-insulating and structurally robust floor slab component. It features three load-bearing ribs, with the lower closure of the cross-section formed by a CLT-layer. The element height is adapted to meet structural requirements and can be configured with additional layers for fire resistance of up to 90 minutes. High-quality genuine wood surfaces are available on the visible side—optionally with integrated acoustic profiling. The crosswise lamination ensures excellent dimensional stability.
