Type F, with fixed rails, is optimized for flush and plumb surfaces, while Type S, with its adjustable rail, enables precise façade alignment even on uneven existing walls. The elements create installation-friendly cavities for insulation and can also serve as an adjustable substructure for interior fit-outs. | ||
| Product description of manufacturer: | U*psi F / S is a ladder-shaped insulation post element made of genuine wood rungs and rails, cross-laminated in the style of cross-laminated timber (CLT)—but with wide spacing between the individual lamellae. The insulation layer is only penetrated at discrete points, making it a solution with minimal thermal bridging. Type F, with fixed rails, is suitable for even substrates, while Type S, featuring an adjustable alignment rail, can also be used on uneven existing walls. | ||
