Product description of manufacturer: The cross-laminated timber acoustic panels consist of three layers: On the visible side, gaps in the top layer create a slatted appearance; when properly constructed, the cladding is resistant to ball impact. The middle layer (cross layer) is oriented at a right angle to the top layer and ensures high dimensional stability, even though solid wood is used. The rear layer consists of at least four longitudinally aligned slats.
Acoustic absorbers are integrated into the cross layer. Thanks to the recessed absorber material, the panel is renovation-friendly—its sound absorption performance remains unaffected by painting or sanding.
Various wood species and regular or irregular slat patterns are available for the visible layer.
